Turtles and their Awesomeness

TURTLES

Turtles were always one of the most fun creatures to see when I would go scuba diving.  The way they kick their little feet and glide through the water is pretty amazing.   Their toes are actually claws and their feet are webbed acting as paddles to get them around ‘doggy style’ swim in large bodies of water.  Much like dolphins, it always seemed to me that these sea creatures had a permanent smile on their faces.   Apparently they do have a jovial way about them, check out the video as two turtle buddies run into each other and stop to offer a friendly high five.  I am trying to think of turtle kritters in the pet community on Twitter, but none come to mind.  Anyone?  Leave me a comment with their handle or tweet Abigail @KritterKondo so we can give them a great big shout out!

It’s always nice to know that someone loves our species…our cousins, the sea turtles, are elegant swimmers. By the way, we are not as slow as sloth…you should see us running while chasing food ;)
